Separate but not equal,

Black rights sequal.

Races should be able to learn together,

Not as birds of a feather

Know Miranda's rights

Or you could lose the fight

For your freedom in court

Children had to pray in school,

But that was a violation.

Separation of church and state

is important in this nation.

The US aided,

the war escalated.

troops were added,

more to be blasted.

Troops were fried

they died,

their mothers cried

all because the President lied. 

In the fight for women's rights

bras were burned

women stopped wearing tights

for men lessons were learned
